Sperm donation is when a man chooses to give sperm to help someone else have a baby. As with egg donation, the recipient's own egg or donor egg is used to help the intended parents create a family with the donated sperm through a process called IVF. Alternatively, sperm can be used with someone's own egg through a different process called IUI.

No, unless you have informally agreed to donate your sperm. Informal agreements are plagued with issues regarding ongoing care of the child, inheritance rights etc so we strongly recommend a formal agreement is entered into before conception.
For donation through a licensed clinic, children born after 1 April 2005, they are entitled to apply for information about their genetic heritage. You may want to consider leaving further information about you, your life and photos as part of your estate planning for any child born via your sperm donation to request after your death which should be done as part of making a Will.
