Amy Lane TEP - Partner
Amy is a Partner and solicitor at international law firm, gunnercooke. She has over ten years' experience providing traditional and complex estate planning advice. She provides advice to multiple generations with a view to protecting and maximising those assets for the future. The services her and her team are able to advise on can be found on our website and all legal work and advice will be undertaken through Amy's practice at gunnercooke. She and her team pride themselves on being specialists in their area and often receive feedback about the kindness and clear communication received.
Amy is one of few lawyers talking openly about Paths to Parenthood and has been featured on The Stork & I's podcast and written for STEP - a leading global network of trust and estate professionals - about paths to parenthood in her article ‘Donations Welcome’.
Amy and her team will undertake all work through gunnercooke and are able to meet with you at gunnercooke's office facilities in London. They also have meeting facilities in the North of England in Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester. Amy has other office facilities outside of London in Kent and East Sussex too. For clients with American connections, Amy can also meet with you at our New York or Chicago office.
Amy is the Chair of STEP - Kent, She's also a contracted marker through CLT to mark STEP exams. Amy was one of only six practitioners shortlisted worldwide as STEP's Young Practitioner of the Year.
Amy is a Judge at the Probate Industry Awards - awards recognising and celebrating excellence in the probate industry
She has been recognised in the Citywealth Leader's List and has also been recognised in Legal 500 as ‘personable, empathetic, professional and thoroughly effective’.
She has previously sat on the Council for both Kent Law Society and Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge District Law Society.
Outside of work, you will find Amy walking at the beach, tending to her allotment or cuddled up on the sofa in front of the fire with a book.
